Chris & Bailey’s Dreamy Santa Barbara Engagement

I’ll rarely say no when given a reason to visit Santa Barbara, and Chris and Bailey’s engagement session was no exception. We met up on a sunny Sunday afternoon, beginning our session in Alice Keck Park Memorial Garden. Bailey, being the gem that she is, had already scouted the location for us (including detailed photos of potential areas, of course) — and after spending just a few minutes with them, I knew we were going to hit it off. My favorite part might have been Bailey’s incredible dress, bought in person from a local designer in Brazil.

Once we finished exploring the gardens, the three of us headed across the street to the cutest historic church. If you know anything about me, you know I’m obsessed with classic Spanish Revival architecture, from painted tiles and white plaster to arched windows and wrought iron accents. It was a match made in heaven.

We ended the night a few minutes down the coast at Summerland Beach, watching the sun set with sandy toes and wind-blown hair. I couldn’t have asked for a better evening, and I feel so grateful to have shared even a small piece of the love between these two.
